SpeechPathology.com has partnered with University of the Pacific, Benerd College to offer school-based SLPs graduate-level semester (non-degree) credits toward salary advancement and/or recertification. Credit acceptance is determined by your school district, so please confirm eligibility with your district before registering.
For each graduate-level course you register for, you can choose to take 1–4 credits. Each credit requires 15 hours of CEU courses on SpeechPathology.com that you haven't taken before.
How it works
- Join or log in to SpeechPathology.com. An active subscription is required.
- Register with University of the Pacific and pay $62 per credit through the registration portal.
- Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your course syllabus and instructions for the reflection report. Coursework must be completed after receiving registration approval. The email also includes your completion deadline, which is 6 months from the registration approval date.
- Complete your CEU coursework and exams on SpeechPathology.com.
- Submit a reflection report on the Course Completion Form, summarizing how the course supported your professional development.
- Receive your letter grade (A–F) from University of the Pacific.

FAQs
Will my school district accept these credits? It depends on your district. Some require pre-approval of courses before you register. Confirming with your district is your responsibility.
Which SpeechPathology.com courses count toward the graduate-level credit course requirements? The syllabus for each course links to the SpeechPathology.com topic areas that align with your course. You may choose any courses within those areas that fit your goals. Courses you completed before registering cannot be used toward graduate-level credit.
How long do I have to complete each graduate-level credit course? You have six months from your registration approval date. All materials, including the Course Completion Form, must be submitted before this deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted, and missing the deadline means you will not receive credit.
How many credits can I earn? You can earn 1–4 credits per course, which you choose at registration. Your selection is final once registration is complete.
Where do I find my syllabus? You can find it in your registration confirmation email or by clicking the course listing on the Graduate-Level Credit page.
Why don't I see the graduate-level credit courses in my Dashboard? Graduate-level credits are administered through University of the Pacific, separate from your SpeechPathology.com Dashboard. You'll choose SpeechPathology.com courses in your preferred format to complete each syllabus requirement.
How do I get a transcript? Once you finish your coursework, you'll get an email with your grade and instructions for requesting an official transcript from University of the Pacific.
