How do I find courses that meet my state requirements?

Continued provides resources to help you understand how we can support meeting your state’s continuing education requirements for license renewal. These requirements differ depending on your state and profession, as well as the number of hours required and the types of courses that are accepted.

Depending on your profession, the Continued course library may offer a state filter you can use to sort the library for courses that may meet your state requirements. 

Before completing a course on Continued, you’ll need to update your Professional Profile in your account settings; you can either enter your license or indicate that you do not have a license. This will ensure that the library search filters default to your state license and that courses display course credits most relevant to your license. 

If you have multiple state licenses, you’ll need to manually choose the relevant state from the drop-down menu. 

Please note that it is your responsibility to select courses on topics that comply with your state’s continuing education requirements and that are within your state’s scope of practice.
